Youll be talking about V-Control from Neyrinck??I have seen it, read about it, and even considered buying an ipad to have it, until i discovered that it cant be used over the web. I wanted to control my studio PtHD rig from a hotel room (somewhere hotter than here) on an IP link.
Seems it only works on wifi which rather restircts you to being at the machine. I guess it dos give you faders etc etc.Neyrinck are a v good company and the demos i have seen on youtube etc etc look pretty cool. Control of parameters looked fine and accurate. I guess if i had an ipad, id be having it at a glance, but I do have a habit of buying trinkets.seeAs on infomercials in the US-but wait, theres more!!This page suggests that v control on ipad also controls Media Composer - NOW IM INTERESTED!! Off to the applestore at lunch.for the price Id go for it. (50$) Costs twice that to nearly fill my cars tank with petrol.CheersPeterPost Production Dubbing Mixer. I saw V-control and thought it was very cool, but wanted to make sure it was functional for dialog editing before parting with the money. My iPad3 is a little stupid in some of the apps; touch the screen on the button and nothing happens the first few times. That would take the smile away for me. I have reached out to them for a demo to see how well the editing works, but have not heard back from them.Regards,Ty FordCow Audio Forum LeaderWant better production audio?:Ty Ford Blog.
